  • Hawks' Bogdan Bogdanovic: Efficient in Olympic win

    Rotowire

Bogdanovic contributed 16 points (6-12 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three assists, two rebounds and one steal across 25 minutes in Saturday's 93-83 win for Serbia over Germany in the bronze medal game of the Paris Olympics.

The 31-year-old's elite scoring ability was crucial for Serbia in its Olympic campaign, and he served as the squad's No. 2 option behind Nikola Jokic. In six Olympic contests, Bogdanovic averaged 18.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.8 assists while shooting 46.2 percent from beyond the arc.

  • Hawks' Bogdan Bogdanovic: Leads team in scoring in loss

    Rotowire

Bogdanovic gathered 20 points (8-18 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds and three assists in 31 minutes during Thursday's 95-91 semifinal loss to the United States.

It looked as though Bogdanovic would lead Serbia to a decisive victory, with Serbia maxing out at a 17-point lead. Bogdanovic, Nikola Jokic (17 points) and Aleksa Avramovic (15 points) were the three double-digit scorers for Serbia. However, Team USA executed a massive comeback. Serbia is now set to face Germany in the bronze medal game.

  • Hawks' Bogdan Bogdanovic: Game-high 30 points in Olympic win

    Rotowire

Bogdanovic tallied 30 points (10-14 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 4-5 FT), eight assists, four rebounds, two blocks and two steals across 32 minutes in Serbia's 96-85 win over South Sudan in the Paris Olympics on Saturday.

Bogdanovic was lethal from beyond the arc, and he has served as an extremely productive second option behind Nikola Jokic. The 31-year-old did it all in the win while leading the team with a game high in points and a team high in assists. South Sudan was able to keep the game competitive up until the middle of the fourth quarter, but Bogdanovic's offensive barrage while Jokic was on the bench helped Serbia pull away. In three group-phase appearances, the sharpshooter averaged 19.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists across 28.0 minutes per game. The veteran will be crucial for Serbia in the Olympic quarterfinals, and his ability to get a bucket while Jokic is not on the floor could be game-altering.

  • Hawks' Dyson Daniels: All-around performance in loss

    Rotowire

Daniels tallied 11 points (4-7 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-3 FT), eight assists, six rebounds and one steal in 28 minutes for Australia during Friday's 77-71 loss to Greece in the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Daniels shot the ball efficiently from the field and led Australia in assists during Friday's loss. While Daniels is expected to be a backup option in Atlanta's frontcourt after being traded from New Orleans, the 21-year-old guard continues to feature heavily for his national team.

  • Hawks' Dominick Barlow: Headed to ATL

    Rotowire

The Hawks signed Barlow (knee) to a two-way contract Tuesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

After waiving Bruno Fernando on Tuesday, the Hawks signed Barlow to a two-way pact. The move to sign the 21-year-old seemingly aligns with the club's plan to rebuild around their young core of Zaccharie Risacher (quad) and Jalen Johnson (ankle). However, Barlow may have a difficult time picking up minutes with the squad, buried behind Clint Capela, Onyeka Okongwu (toe), Larry Nance and Cody Zeller. Barlow spent two years with the Spurs, and in 2023-24, he averaged 3.8 points and 3.5 rebounds across 14.1 minutes in 29 regular-season games.

  • Hawks' Bogdan Bogdanovic: Scores 14 points in Olympic loss

    Rotowire

Bogdanovic put up 14 points (6-14 FG, 2-6 3Pt), six rebounds, one assist and one steal across 28 minutes in Serbia's 110-84 loss to the United States in the Paris Olympics on Sunday.

Bogdanovic led the Serbian national team in rebounds in the blowout loss. The 31-year-old will likely be expected to shoulder much of the offensive workload alongside Nikola Jokic in the remaining games of the group phase. With Jokic at the helm, this Serbian squad has extremely high expectations, and Bogdanovic will be expected to deliver as the squad's No. 2 option.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Out again Saturday

Risacher will miss the Hawks' final Summer League contest -- his third consecutive absence -- due to a bruised right quad. The issue isn't expected to have any long-term ramifications, and it's likely that the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft will be a full participant when training camp gets underway in the fall.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Remains out Friday

    Rotowire

Risacher (quadriceps) won't play in Friday's Summer League game versus the Bulls, Lauren L. Williams of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Risacher will miss his second straight Summer League outing while dealing with a right quad contusion. With the Hawks sitting at 0-3 in Las Vegas, the No. 1 pick is likely done for the Summer League. However, there is no indication that Risacher will miss any time once training camp rolls around.
