How to get into Georgia Aquarium for free? ›

Get Free Admission on Your Birthday

Visit Georgia Aquarium on your birthday, and your Aquarium admission is FREE! Visit on your birthday and provide proof of your birthday with a valid Georgia ID (or a copy of a birth certificate for children) when you purchase your ticket to the Aquarium.

Make your reservation as early as possible on the day of your visit to secure a seat. Space is limited. Guarantee you get the best view when you reserve a preferred seat in advance for an additional $5. Download Georgia Aquarium's mobile app on either the App Store or Google Play.

If you're running late, you need to be through the waiting line, to where they scan your ticket by up to 1 hour past your ticket entry time. If you're going to be later than that, you must call them prior to your entry time & they'll reissue you a later entry time ticket.

Covered and rooftop parking is available. You can pay for parking in advance online; just print and bring your pre-paid parking ticket with you to enter the parking deck. Food & Drink policy: No outside food or beverages are permitted in the aquarium with the exception of small snacks for children or visitors with food allergies. The aquarium has several water bottle filling stations, we encourage you to bring a refillable water bottle for your visit.

The upkeep of the facilities, the work with/on/for animals that they do, and the conservation they support costs a lot of money. It's the second largest aquarium in the world (and the largest in the US).

If the change is made less than 14 days prior to the original date, a $50 change fee per ticket will be charged. Cancellations within 48 hours and no-shows will not be refunded or rescheduled. To change your reservation, please contact Georgia Aquarium's Call Center at (404) 581-4000.

Things to Know Before You Visit

Make reservations on the day of your visit online, in the mobile app or at the Aquarium. Access is included with the price of admission but space is limited and first-come, first-served so be sure to make reservations early.

Access to our dolphin presentation is included with your General Admission ticket. To attend a presentation, you must make a reservation the day of your visit. For an additional cost of $5, you can get up close and personal with preferred seating. Please arrive 15 minutes before your presentation starts to get seated.

Children ages 2 and under do not require a ticket to visit. All other ticket prices may vary depending on the day and time of your visit.
